The Google Pixel 5 & Pixel 4a (5G) will be announced September 30

After previously confirming its plans to release the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a (5G) in a handful of countries later this fall, Google has today scheduled a Made by Google press event on Wednesday, September 30.
Expect Pixel phones, a Chromecast, and a Nest speaker
Headlining the virtual gathering will be the flagship Google Pixel 5 and midrange Google Pixel 4a (5G). These smartphones are expected to arrive powered by the Snapdragon 765 and offer 5G network connectivity as standard.
Both devices are rumored to include square camera bumps on the back that house two sensors. It's unclear what the differences are going to be, but the Pixel 5 should be the superior of the two in that department.
The official event invite also mentions a new smart speaker and Chromecast. The former is almost certainly the Nest-branded Google Home replacement that has leaked several times and been teased by Google itself. The latter, on the other hand, is probably the 'Sabrina' Android TV dongle.
The event is scheduled to take place at 11am PT on Wednesday, September 30. Google hasn't confirmed how long it will last or provided a YouTube streaming link yet.
